Dr Babak Shakeri is a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist based in Perth, Western Australia.

He completed his Doctor of Medicine in 2005 and went on to gain his specialist qualifications in obstetrics and gynaecology, building his clinical experience at leading hospitals in Sydney before establishing his practice in Western Australia.

Dr Shakeri cares for women across the full course of pregnancy, general and complex gynaecology, and fertility. He holds a particular clinical and research interest in endometriosis and early pregnancy, and introduced Office Gynaecology, a service designed to see, assess and treat many conditions quickly, often within a single visit.

Dr Shakeri practises at Fiona Stanley and Fremantle Hospitals, where he also contributes to the training of the next generation of specialists as a supervisor of trainees.
